The highly anticipated sequel to the #1 NEW YORK TIMES bestselling book!

Secrets have a way of getting out, especially when a diary is involved.

Whatever you do, don’t ask Greg Heffley how he spent his summer vacation, because he definitely doesn’t want to talk about it.

As Greg enters the new school year, he’s eager to put the past three months behind him . . . and one event in particular.

Unfortunately for Greg, his older brother, Rodrick, knows all about the incident Greg wants to keep under wraps. But secrets have a way of getting out . . . especially when a diary is involved.

Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules chronicles Greg’s attempts to navigate the hazards of middle school, impress the girls, steer clear of the school talent show, and most important, keep his secret safe.

This year marks my 14th year in education. I started my career teaching 5th grade and then served as an elementary school principal. Prior to serving as 4th grade teacher, I worked with an international non-profit that provides teacher training. I have loved each part of my journey, but my heart is truly in the classroom. I love coming to school each day to help my students learn and grow!

Struggling readers and proficient readers alike LOVE the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series! Doesn't matter if they can whip through it in an afternoon or it takes them all of Winter Break to read it, students will pick up title after title in the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series. These books are one of the most favored by my students, so I would like to get copies for our classroom library so as many kids who want to read them can!

My students are eager to please and hard-workers. Our school serves a large population of high-poverty students, so having reading materials readily available at school is particularly important.
